I’ll show and tell more about all the fun activities of this weekend tomorrow. On this day of rest and of special attention to our Savior’s resurrection, I’m still too exhausted!

It was spring break.  Playtime.  Sydney and Tanner rushed out of a room, and with some urgency in their voices, informed me that we needed to make cupcakes that very day!  It was the birthday of some of their stuffed animals.

Fortunately, friends were able to come over…

…and celebrate with us.

What’s a party without music?  The children took turns playing songs such as “Jingle Bells” on the piano and accompanying each other on the bongos and anything they could pull out of our instrument basket.

The sound was a blend of melody and mayhem.

Being free to stop what we’re doing and take off with our imaginations as they start to fly– that’s something I love about spring break.
