So I reached my goal weight (and even surpassed it by 1 pound) on my self-appointed deadline of September 25th, and began my family’s vacation with a flight to Paris, France that very afternoon. That’s what I call a good day!
I wish every girl could go shopping in Paris after losing 37 pounds!
Actually though, I was content just to stroll by Louis Vuitton, Dior, etc., and admire the architecture of the shops.
I had purchased some cute new skinny clothes at home in Arizona (mostly with coupons) just before crossing the pond.
A week in Paris, a week in London, and a few days in Brussels… my camera’s never been so happy.
I can’t wait to share lots and lots about our trip with you, but it takes time to go through the thousands (lit-er-al-ly) of photos we took, and decide on which ones are truly worth taking a peek at.
So I’ve decided to begin with my “fashion shoot” photos and show off my new outfits with rather fabulous backgrounds.
Many scrumptious photos featuring my adorable kids and hubby, a few other fabulous people, and the incredible places we meandered through will soon follow. I’m so excited about them!
My husband Kerry snapped the photos that I’m in, unless labeled otherwise. Sydney and Tanner added some silliness to keep us from looking too chic and unapproachable.

Anthropologie dress at the Palace of Versailles. The dress isn’t new, but I had to have a little black dress with me!

Laduree store on the Champs-Elysees. Okay, so I did buy some macarons! Fortunately, I had bought the dress at White House/Black Market with a 40% off coupon so we could afford them.

Shirt from the Ann Taylor Loft. I’m starting to do Standing Bow Pose in front of Notre Dame de Paris. I didn’t really do yoga while in Europe, but I “posed” at several interesting places.

La Grand Place in Brussels. I took this one pair of shoes with me (wait! where’d the other shoe go?) and walked comfortably for countless miles in them. The only times I thought about my feet were when I was feeling grateful for these shoes by Clarks.

Jacquemart Clock in Brussels. Pants by White House/Black Market. Gloves bought at a Cracker Barrel restaurant/store.
See you soon. Have a beautiful day!
